I've never done face paint before, it was pretty easy to use. I'm sure if you're familiar with face paint you could get better coverage, I mostly used my fingers. I like that it has a lot of product. We used it for 3 people and this is what was left. It is easy to apply to the skin, holds well but does not stain the skin. Totally recommended, especially for the price. Lots of colors, very pigmented - better than I expected.
