Perfect for cross-training cycling

First of all I am not a cyclist and not even a seasoned amateur. I bike (paved trails, rough trails, singletrack, down mountains, sometimes long distances but never race) when the weather and mood permit, and I use a stationary bike as part of my morning cardio workout when I my best angels can convince you to take something. I bought them to give them a bit more firepower and to reduce my lazy devils' arguments. They're lightweight, cool, comfortable, FAST and dry quickly. Ideal for stationary cross training or triathlon cycling. I think they're probably good for road bike training too, but I haven't used them that way (yet): I got them as a cheap and convenient way to use shoes and bike for stationary training over a very long winter. However, I see that they will not be suitable for cycling in general. That said, if I was planning to hop on my bike during the day and ride 100 miles, or if I were going to bike to work, I'd probably choose a different shoe. I certainly wouldn't use them for solo track or snow riding. First, while I'm sure they can be comfortable with socks, they are very snug without socks and seem to offer better ventilation and ease of use without socks. But they also flex differently than I think would be desirable for cycling. However, they were cheap for what they offer and I think they represent excellent value for my application.
