I bought this straightener to replace my old one of 8 years and felt like it was doing more damage than good at this point.To compare it to my old Remington:1. They both made my hair straight. I have not used this product to curl my hair as of yet, but it did straighten my hair nicely. I have thick and wavy hair that is about 2 1/2 feet long (approx. 30 in.). I like my hair to be very flat and this did the job. It wasn't quite as flat as my last straightener would get it, ( even at 8 years old)

I made a very good decision. It's light and I like that the end is rounded, much easier to get closer to the scalp. I have naturally (very) curly hair and this straightens my hair easily. Took me a few times to be able to put curls in but seem to have the hang of it. It definitely takes practice. It also heats up quickly.

I chose this flat iron because of the shape of the plates since I’m interested in using it to curl. The plates do not glide down my hair easily and it was frustrating to use and made frizzy curls. I thought maybe because my hair has been color treated (damaged) and thick so this morning I decided to try it on my 5 year old daughter’s which is fine and smooth. It did not glide down her hair smoothly either. So I’m returning this flat iron and I’m ordering the HSI.

I find that it heats up fast, and does a nice job. You can also make curls, but this requires a little practice. It looks and feels like a professional tool you'd see in a salon.

This flat iron worked perfectly on my hair! I started out on the lowest heat setting since I didn’t know how it would react to my color treated hair and I didn’t need to go any higher! This is my favorite of all the flat irons I have tried over the years. This one smoothly straightens hair but also can curl easier than most flat irons as it has a rounded edge. Heats up quickly!My iron- the On/Off power switch actually broke 5 months in so I could not turn the product on at all. I contacted the Company, uncertain how they might handle it since I'd had it for a bit of time. They responded promptly & are sending me a new iron! Very pleased with the product & the Seller too!

This works way better than most irons I've had. Great product and good price! I have courser, wavy, naturally silver/white hair and it has been working beautifully without damaging or turning my hair a yellow tinge like other irons have.

Heated up in a min! I normally take 40-50 min to straighten my long 3a type hair and I did this in half the time. This is the fanciest straightener I have owned

I really like how it glides through my medium course hair. It will take some practice to get the curling part down though. The outside of the unit does get hot, so a glove would be recommended. I am just thrilled with the ability to do both straightening and curling with one tool, and a very nice one at that.

I am giving this 3 stars because of the fact that I feel like I was mislead. I mentioned to my hairdresser that I needed a new flat iron and she recommended I stay away from ceramic ones and stick with titanium plates. So I found this one claiming titanium plates. I ordered it and when it arrived, I noticed in the instruction manual that the plates are "ceramic infused" and not titanium. That said, I'm keeping the product because I hate the hassle of having to return things. It does work nicely

I really struggle finding a good straightener I’m blonde and my hair is thick & long i like this has different control settings and it has a little bit of a curve little getting used to also the power button sticks sometimes but It doesn’t snag my hair it’s last for days and i love it

I have another Furiden straightener that I love. I wasnt sure how much I would like this one since it ia more flat, but I actually like it better than my other one. It heats up in 15 seconds, has variable temperature control, it curls my hair better than my other one, and has a notangle cord.

I just received this fantastic hair straightener and I’m nit disappointed 👍it’s wonderful, I have very thick wavy hair it straightened it beautifully and my hair is smooth and shiny I highly recommended it . This is the first one I can truly stand behind! I have four others I purchased all bad.

My daughter used her friends straighter like this and had to get it. We have been though a few straightens very expensive ones.My daughter has never liked them.This is the first one she has loved. It is used everyday. Well made. Gets hot enough. She has thick corse hair and it’s hard for her to straighter her hair and this works wonders on it. Going to have to get me one too!
