Who wants to spend $150+ on bio-ionic? This is an amazing titanium plate flat iron. I give it a 4.5 stars only because of my one con below.My hair is naturally straight & fine, but I have a lot of hair.PROs - sleek design, mirrors the bio-ionic. digital temp display. long cord. The plates "float" or kinda have some "give" with pressure when you close them which must be why there's no gap. glides beautifully over hair. I use Ogx thermal blow out hair cream on damp hair and let it dry 75%, then blow dry the rest. Then use the flat iron to either smooth & straighten or add some waves/curls. no static build up and my hair is very soft. My waves/curls lasted all day and even had some still looking good the next day. But IMO that's product + hair type + ironCONs - Holy hell this gets hot! any temp over 355 is almost impossible to use a second hand, or finger tips, to assist by holding the tip of the iron. I needed a glove. But if you're super talented in flat iron use and can one hand it. no worries.
