In our church we sometimes need to run powerpoints or broadcast videos through a projector. The projector is not wireless, instead it has a VERY long cable from the sound card to the projector. Maybe 30 or 40 feet. The problem was that some laptops' video output wasn't strong enough to send a stable signal to the projector. As a result, the video was often interrupted or the projector lost its input signal. Very annoying! I bought it hoping it would be an inexpensive solution to a problem. And it was! Works perfectly. It amplifies the signal so now we have smooth video no matter what laptop we use.
