This Asus monitor for the money is one of the best out there for either a PC or Apple computer. The difference in colors and detail is very noticeable if you have a graphics card capable of running at a high resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. Asus colors rendered out of the box were terrible when connected to my PC. I tried using the NVIDIA card's built-in utility, but it never came close to what I was looking for in terms of color balance and brightness. It was taking too long so I went to the search engine. I was able to find several websites that had the ICC profile pre-configured for my NVIDIA graphics card and once installed all that was left to do was adjust the brightness. Small. Thanks to the people who posted them. Using the ICC profile saved me a lot of time. If you need help downloading an ICC profile after you've downloaded it to your computer, just search "Use an ICC profile on Windows". I can't guarantee you'll find an ICC profile for your specific graphics card, but if you do it will save you a lot of time and experimentation. Step by step through the process of using your graphics card software to set up your monitor and then set it up for gaming. The telescopic stand and tilt work smoothly and can be moved at any time if needed. The monitor feels solid on the desk unlike some monitors I've had. It's great to have a sturdy stand and monitor on your desk without the risk of a cat or child accidentally knocking it over. I didn't use the speakers on the monitor because I use gaming headphones. I can't say anything about their abilities. The monitor speakers I used did not have dynamic audio. So if you're not having trouble with the audio, don't worry. This card gets 5 stars because it offers the best color and image resolution and some nice extras that I've seen in using computers for the last 10 years. Are there better monitors? Yes, but this price makes it a great choice for gamers on a budget who have a significantly higher resolution than a regular graphics card. Just do your homework to ensure your computer and graphics card can use their maximum settings.
