Review on 👣 Enhance Foot Protection with Darco Body Armor Toe Guard Women's Square" by Anthony Jagers

The idea is there, the design isn't

I bought this for my husband's boot (broken foot). His boot is open toe but the job requires a closed toe and this was the best/cheapest option I could find. it over an open stove to heat it and bend it so it's not so big. The holes on the side are just big holes; Your foot isn't really protected from any elements, just maybe other people's sneakers, table legs, etc. The picture shows a full-length white paper behind it, and the description shows that it is secretly stuck to the bottom boot (under the soft part). That's not the case, the sock guard doesn't have a white piece that can be glued down the length of the boot (which frankly would make more sense), it just comes with the sock guard attached to a short piece of plastic down the length the sock itself. It has a sticky part, but I have no idea if it's sticky enough or not (easily attached with velcro if it's not sticky enough I think), although I was a bit annoyed by that, my said man it's alright For those who need closed toe boots I've been looking. I haven't found any other product that I thought was comparable. Here's what we did to ensure the boot was functional: A) Place it under a hot stove/torch to better match your boot. We did it on all 3 sides (2 sides and above) B) either ghetto like we did or found a prettier version; We simply slipped the black sock over it once it was flush with the boot, cut a hole where the toes should sit, and slipped the whole junk under the padded portion of the boot and tucked the rest of the sock in the way. way to the back of the boot. If someone isn't really REALLY concentrating on the shoe, no one will notice. It won't protect your foot from the weather but it's summer and it wasn't our main concern so rain and weather protection wasn't necessary. (Beeswax is rubbed into the fabric you are using and then melted down with a blow dryer) Bottom line. Pros: Great idea Protects your toes a bit Durable plastic Cons: Large (husband wears 12.5 and this thing looked like a clown boot on him before molding) Falsely advertised Bulky Doesn't protect your feet from the hard impact of someone else's toes/toes People; beware of clumsy chicks in high heels. Is this the best product? Unfortunately yes. Will this get the job done? Kind. While a little unwieldy, it's a really great idea and after playing around with it a bit, you'll get the job done. It's a good base to start with, but you'll probably need to do a little work to customize it to suit your needs. Hope that helps!
