Review on Smart watch SUUNTO 5, burgundy copper by Boguslawa Kusztal ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I am completely satisfied, item complies with description.

Six months of use, and as I never before owned a sports watch, I have nothing to compare it to. Almost everything about this watch appeals to me. It's well-made, sturdy, lightweight, and easy on the wrist. The data is presented well. The display turned out to be smaller than I expected (although it's still convenient to view all the information), and the selection of time dials was smaller than I would have liked. I work out six days a week (Monday through Saturday) for an hour each time, and the battery lasts for six days on average. I also receive notifications and my heart rate is tracked around the clock. You lose a few days of independence for every one of these features, plus my opinion. A handy and entertaining app that makes use of the phone's in-built chips, displaying heat maps and the paths of other users. Nevertheless, updating your application profile (height, weight, age) is currently not possible. Really inconvenient. The watch lacks an automatic activity detector, but that's not a deal breaker (only if the walking mode was determined during a walk). The menu does not have enough repetition, making more scrolling necessary. A neat feature in training modes is the option to alter the way several parameters are displayed. The GPS is responsive and accurate even at full power (the path is based on sidewalks). I found that when running in the city, the economy option (in my opinion, a 60-second signal interval) was not ideal because it "stole" mileage and miscalculated my pace by taking shorter but more indirect routes. In my opinion, this plan can be implemented with tempo-matched, straight-line running (field, highway). The controls are convenient, easy to get used to, and eventually second nature while you're doing other things. In addition, after starting a path in the mountains and monitoring it with the Suunto app, the GPS altimeter indicated less ascent than another app (one of the most popular), even though it syncs with Suunto. Who is correct is unclear at this time. Definitely worth your time! I enjoyed it and think you will too.

Cons
  • Bluetooth's sharp edges started to dull after 5 months (perhaps on the phone, and not on the clock). The watch and the app sometimes get out of sync, requiring you to unpair and then rejoin. When jogging in the frost, it occasionally loses contact with the chest heart rate sensor or displays an overstated pulse (190-200 beats).
