My youngest (almost 10) is a special needs child with sensory issues, and he loves working with crafts involving clay. He took to this Klutz Make Mini Eraser Sweets Craft Kit right away, and every day after school, he wants to make a new one. They include an excellent full color booklet on how to shape and design the absolutely adorable "sweets" out of the provided clay - you can make layered cakes, cupcakes, cookies, fruit, etc. While we don't necessarily create as good looking of items as what they show, they still turn out pretty darn well when we follow their easy to follow instructions. There's a "smile maker" tool that makes it really easy to add a smile (or frown) to your creations, and it can also be used to create textures (like on a pineapple shape, for instance). They give you little items to finish off the look, like little "eyes" and such, so the final product just looks sooooo cute! He just has a blast with this and it's so much fun for parents, too! The quality of this set is great, it does everything as advertised, and it's just a fun and unique item that a lot of kids, young and old, would enjoy using. Love it!
