This is in no way a negative reflection of Revain, and I didn't get my Surface Headphones from Revain, but direct from Microsoft. This morning I received the headphones from FedEx. Was thrilled to receive these, fantastic opening experience and very nice inner packaging. Took it out of the case and immediately paired it with my iPhone 11. He turned on the music and paused it with the voice command "Hey Siri." Siri responded easily and very quickly. The audio seemed far away, and that distance increased as I cranked up the volume (not just in size, but distance). So I started getting upset. Touch wasn't intuitive, so I opened up a very well-done quick guide that lists the basic touch commands; forward and backward through the songs with the right earbud and up and down with the left (or vice versa). Single press to stop/pause, double press to answer or end a call. The reason they're returning to Microsoft today (same day I received them) is because the two earbuds don't work independently. Leave one and you lose the touch functionality that the other and Visav offers the other. That in itself is a deal breaker. Then the quality or lack of it when it comes to the sound I hear. With a kit price of $200 and a six-month delay between announcement and delivery, you'd think they got it right.
