Due to the slightly uneven spacing of the nubs, these blocks were installed on the skin strips. However, it was difficult to insert the hooks into the holes above the planks of skin. Some older pinned 1/4" hooks and some newer pinless metal hooks have worked fine, but the plastic hooks designed for use with these boards require about 1/8" of both the offset end and the pins to be clipped, to be used and installed. If these blocks were installed flush with the wall as intended, hook problems could become a real problem. I like the material and the overall construction of the boards. For some reason the 3 piece kit I ordered contained four 16 x 24 panels so my setup was 48w x 32h on 3 strips of skin which was fine with me!
