I am 76 years old and had cartilage surgery on the small bone in my left knee many years ago while I was working in the fire service. Lately it has started to hurt so much that I have had to be careful going up and down stairs, bending over to do something, or kneeling to do some gardening. I ordered this knee pad and I'm glad I did! The first day I wore it there was a significant difference. My knee immediately felt better. I wore it for a full day, took it off the second day and the knee felt good. I will definitely wear it when I'm working on the street or when my knee starts to hurt. I'm only 5ft 7" tall so I ordered a large one. I have reordered 2 xx large ones for my son and his wife who also has pain from time to time.
