I was very excited when I received this item. I had another kit that recently died so I was looking for a new one. The reviews seemed good so I went for it. This is a quality item made from durable plastic. The mount isn't that strong, but I've never had a problem. The charge was fine and lasted a long time. I like the ability to wash it under water with no consequences. This is what I always wanted in a multi groomer. Fast forward a year and today I tried to charge it and a few hours later I tried to turn it on and nothing happened. The battery appears to be dead or failed. I was able to contact the manufacturer and since it's still under warranty (2 years) I'll be getting a new one soon. I've also seen a few comments from people who had the same issue as me and their battery didn't last all that long. I'm a little concerned about this, but for $18 it's not a bad deal. Next time I buy I'll probably go with a newer model and hope the battery issues have been fixed.
