Review on Powerful and Reliable Air King 9020 1/6 HP Industrial Grade Wall Mount Fan - 20-Inch, Black by Tiffany Odom

Quality Wall Fan

The first sign that Air King cares about delivering a quality product is the heavy carton. Too many companies are increasingly using lightweight (increasingly cheaper to ship) fragile cardboard to ship goods that offer little to no protection. Not so Air King; They shipped my 20 inch fan in old school heavyweight stiff cardboard. Thank you Air King for that. Of course, the fan arrived in perfect condition. Hit the cleats with my support board, which allowed me to hang a fan between the cleats. The fan blows a lot of air and not too loud. You should expect some noise, since noise is nothing but exactly moving air, it's moving air that the fan is making. I don't know if I'll fall asleep comfortably to its sound, but it's not "loud" even at high speed. A low speed is sufficient for garage work most days. The fan does not wobble or vibrate. Compared to fans in the lower price range, you are paying for a high-quality fan and a double-sided bracket. It is one of the very few vibration-free wall fans with a full two degrees of freedom; You can rotate it from side to side and tilt it up and down. No $50-$80 fan I've seen allows this. With this Air King, you can orient the fan in any direction, which costs an additional 30%. You also get a nice, heavy-duty, six-foot power cord. Other outfits made me laugh while shopping, noting their "extra long" 3-foot cord. Air King gives you a six foot cord, and I really appreciated that too. The cord extension is a cheap cord (the first six inches where it enters the motor is metal), but that's an easy fix and I can't complain about this cost-saving item. Everything else, especially the mount, is made of heavy-duty metal and has a durable powder-coated finish. Time will tell, but it looks like I got exactly the reliable "good" quality fan I thought I paid for.
