I have this card reader to read files from the DASHCAM microSD card on my phone. The files are not supported on my MAC MINI without 3rd party software installed, so instead I prefer to use my phone to view, edit and share video files on my DASHCAM. It's also very useful when I'm recording accident footage and need to share the file with someone else, as I can take the microSD card out of my DASHCAM and put it in this device, and then open the file and share it instantly. I was also very impressed with the file transfer speed, because in my opinion this is a really unknown company, so their impeccable work is always appreciated. I also chose this one because the cable allows me to keep my phone case on and plug it in where I have to remove my phone case on the smaller wireless ones.
