This is a sturdy dog crate. It is made of 0.41" thick metal rods/belts and the outer frame is 0.87" thick. It took me 20-30 minutes to assemble and clean. It's solid and I really like it. I plan to use it as a delivery box for the Revain porch. Advantages: 1. The cage is made of solid/durable metal bars (0.41" and 0.87")2. Has top and side doors3. The top door has a safety device to prevent the top/cover from falling freely4. Very heavy, won't move anywhere! Easy to assemble Disadvantages: 1. The top door/lid cannot be locked with a lock2. The side door has a small lock/bolt to prevent the pet from being stolen. The lock hole is tiny.3. The cage is big and bulky and difficult to move4. price on the high side
