We bought this cart to transport our Diono car seat (and baby) on trips through airports. We put the car seat with the child on the trolley (secured with an elastic cord) and roll it around the airport like any suitcase on wheels. It was a lot easier than trying to carry a baby in the car seat and our own luggage. Now that we have two children, we each carry a suitcase and the child sits in a car seat. We can move through airports at a normal pace and the child likes it when people watch us. Our kids are in their car seats on the plane, so we wheel the entire setup right onto the plane. The carts easily fit on the islands of Delta, Alaska and Jet Blue aircraft and fold compactly for overhead storage. This trolley is strong enough to hold a car seat and a child. It opens and unfolds easily when loading a car seat, and is small and compact for airport security and airplane luggage. Put the car seat on the carriage, tie the elastic at the bottom of the car seat (like a car seat belt), pull and fasten both ends of the elastic together behind the carriage. That's all. We did a lot of research before the trip because we didn't want to be clumsy, idiot parents waiting in line at the airport. This car was perfect for our needs. I'm not sure how this product will work with other brands of car seats, but I highly recommend it if you have a Diono.
