Very silky and smooth. The texture doesn't match my natural hair and resembles a barbie doll's hair. However, it was very easy for me (beginner) to braid and braid. Doesn't tangle any more than regular Kanekalon hair. Each package contains about 3/4 hair for weaving in a beauty salon. It took me 6 packs to braid the front half and braid the rest of my hair. No problem when I submerged it in boiling water. Although the amount of hair is less than the packs at the hair supply store, ombre is not often seen.
