Versatile paper and lightweight covers
For quick sketching and jotting down, I like the weight of this paper. Inexpensive to fill with letters, but tolerates slight washes well. Has a good pencil tooth. I also like lightweight plastic covers that are easier to transport. A lot of people don't like spiral binding, but for my purposes it works better in a standing sketch situation.
