I like the mouse. It is well designed, looks well made and simple. Good. It may not be fair, but I bought this to replace my Performance MX and the fact that it has the same number of buttons on the side but can only switch between computers (a useless feature for me) was disappointing. But the biggest issue I had was that the Bluetooth performance is terrible. Communication is PERMANENTLY interrupted. I use the mouse to click on a few things, type in a text box for 10 seconds, then switch back to the mouse to find that it should wake up and reconnect. This is very annoying. I can only imagine this being built into the hardware to meet the battery requirements listed on the box. But the result is that it's functionally useless to me. This mouse actively slows me down because I have to wait up to 5 seconds for it to wake up almost EVERY TIME I use it. I'd love it if he did it after anything with more than 5 minutes of non-use, but sometimes he does it after the shortest of breaks. It's just annoying. I bought a Logitech G604. It also uses Bluetooth, but it doesn't have any of those issues. I can pause for a short time and come back to it with ZERO motion lag. Another time I come back to this after typing for 5 minutes and it takes me *sigh* about 0.5 seconds to wake up. I threw away the packaging of the M720, otherwise I would have sent it back. I think I'll use it as a spare and put it in a drawer somewhere.
