Review on Atomic Bear Fire Starter Survival by Rick Rogers

Revainrating 3 out of 5

So you don't know what you want.

Of all the tinder wicks I have seen or tried on Revain at my own expense. I bought three types of Revain and even made myself a Chaknut Boy Scout book (for use with flint and steel). This model features the thinnest jute rope less than 1/4" OD (OD). has the same OD as the Screwdriver Quick Connect Tool, which is a 1/4" OD tool. In other words, this model has more metal and less fuel. Not sure about the weight limits for minimalist day trips. Ask yourself what you expect from the product. It's the smallest I have and it's in my Maxpadition Pocket Pouch in my Maxpadition Waist Pouch. I'm going to add paraffin wax to this tinder rope because I'll want more when I make these and other fire starters on YouTube. Find a birthday candle and match it Ha! I would not buy this item again. It's nice, it works (I lit it with a Ferocerium stick but didn't check the burn time). I expect if you don't want to buy the full size model. Roll the dice and get this one, but six in a bag from China (maybe lol) will be my pick again, even compared to the expensive whatever you call it I own. I hope you're laughing and smiling as you read this, for whatever reason. Choose your next smile now and pass it on. I prefer Exotac, Procamptek and whatever is made here on the west coast of the United States. With love, Merica
