Update: You can hang things on it too! I put up a hanging trash can to store pet diapers and trash bags! This is amazing stuff. Original review I love this tray! It's not too big and picks up trash off the floor! My brown kitten is dirty and digging like crazy! I always made a big mess when I had a topless tray. Now I'm free from the mess! The grains hardly spill (but do) when the kittens go outside, but that's a lot better than WITHOUT a top. My kittens love their new litter box. At first they were so confused, but after a few minutes they understood the essence. My little girl can go crazy with anything she wants, which she has done. My toddler jumped on top and liked it at first, but was confused by the new smell - eventually he'll get used to it. The extra toys on the side are AWESOME ideas. Oh my god my little girl did this for 1.5 HOURS! It was fun. Eventually she detached the piece of cardboard from the cord and I had to reattach it. She even urged me to put it back on to play with again. Also, my little friend (black kitten) likes to be alone when he needs to go. Plastic ages over time despite cleaning. Cleaning the inside can be a hassle due to the framing of the walls if your cat ever gets explosive diarrhea. It feels cheap, but the design makes up for it if you have basic floor cleaning needs. Once assembled it holds up well. One thing you need to understand is that it's NOT designed to carry a lot of weight - it's not a bookshelf. This is for your cats and just to keep your cat or two. Garbage collection is also easy. The top does not need to be removed (unless soiled by feces or urine). Also, no waste is released into the air and onto the surface. It is encapsulated for the most part. There will still be an odor, but expecting it from a tray is unrealistic - you have to scoop it out right away and replace the filler after a while to get rid of the odor. No mess and new toys for lots of playtime with a seating area to relax or just hop in and ride all day!
