I found assembly difficult. The directions were not clear. When assembled, the box is solid. It is more difficult to clean than most pots as the bottom is too difficult to remove and collect after cleaning. Instead, I use the top hatch. Inside there is a lot of space for cleaning. I have to shovel all the trash over it if I want to empty it completely. These downsides aside, my cats love it and only use it second to a fully opened box. You use the padded top to sit and look out the window.

I love that when assembling, the top is in the bottom - why is that important? Most cat litter will spill if the cat urinates on the back of the box and you then have a mess on the outside of the box. I have 5 cats and at least once a day someone hits the back wall. I like that this drawer has a hinged door. The lid helps keep odors inside (rather than filling 3 spaces) and the swinging door helps keep debris in the box. My cats have a habit of throwing litter around when they scratch, but the lid/door gets rid of most of that. My floors are definitely cleaner.
