Review on πŸ”’ Ultimate Security: Chelsea Sleeve Wallet Protection by Vaultskin - Premium Men's Accessories for Wallets, Card Cases & Money Organizers by Michael Barrett

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I almost wanted to keep it until I decided I couldn't.

I had high hopes for this wallet. I've spent too much time searching YouTube, Revain, Google for the perfect minimalist wallet setup and hoping this would be the right one. It's close but not there. I've been using minimalist wallets for ten years and I usually carry five cards (ID, Insurance, Costco, CC, Debit) and usually 1-3 bills, maybe a random gift card here or there, but I try to keep it in a drawer at home and take with you if necessary. The single horizontal pocket is the best place for your most used card. This slot is easy to insert and remove a card. The middle pocket is obviously where you will keep most of your cards. Unfortunately, the vertical outside pocket is completely missing. Getting the card in and out is really tricky (although it would certainly be a little easier as leather naturally stretches over time. And more importantly, the pull tab you use to access cards in the center pocket, interfering with your natural grip Position That sounds finicky, but you have to flip that tab up and out of the way with one hand, and then stick your fingers in the card, you have to try and pry it out of the tight clasp, because you've decided that it's too annoying to be practical, so I put my least used card (insurance or ID) in there. The kiss of death for me (the reason I came back) was that while the tongue lifts the cards, but not. It's enough (in my opinion). This offers a wide deck of cards to pick up, a small area to pick up and pull out, combined with a very tight fit (again, the lo m it only 3-5 cards in the middle part) ma de Clearing these cards takes a lot more effort and intention than just picking up and leaving. That's a lot of storage space in a very efficient package, but only about 10% of your map popup was too annoying. This could easily be fixed in a future iteration, so hopefully they'll take that into account.
