Review on ILM Alloy Steel Leather Hard Knuckle Touchscreen Motorcycle Bicycle Motorbike Powersports Racing Gloves (M Motorcycle & Powersports by Josh Long

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good protection, mediocre warmth and feel

Bought these primarily for security reasons. According to light testing they offer decent protection, although in a hard fall your knuckles are likely to be badly crushed by the hard shell as the padding is scant. The gloves themselves are very thin. It barely gets warm, but better than nothing, especially if you clench your hands as the plastic blocks the wind a bit. On the other hand, when it's hot outside, they're very good for keeping your hands from sweating. They work on touchscreens, but not nearly as well as your finger. If you need to perform a very rude action, e.g. For example, rejecting a call is fine. Fine activities like typing - forget it. It will be easier and faster to remove it and tap with your finger. I don't type much while driving, so I find that acceptable. Overall, I was looking for a cheap glove that offered good protection and didn't get too hot. This one did its job well.
