I ordered the dinosaurs with a textbook because despite all the great reviews I wasn't blown away. Dinosaurs were packed in a plastic bag, which is suitable as a gift. However, as soon as I opened the package, I felt a chemical smell. It was like the smell of nail polish remover. The smell could more likely be from the bag because after the dinosaurs sat in the bag, they smelled less of chemicals, but the bag still smelled. Because if that smell came right out of the bag, I wouldn't be able to gift it in this bag, but maybe I could use it as a party favor. All of the dinosaurs stand independently but were significantly smaller than I expected, ranging from 1.5 inches. 3.75 inches high. Most of them are about 3 inches tall. I photographed dinosaurs on dollar bills to show size. They're small for little hands, but we love the bigger dinosaurs in our house.
