I wear women's shoes in size 5 and often buy children's socks because women's socks are too big for me. They fit well around the foot, but I found the ribbing around the upper to be quite tight. They reach below my calf. But definitely wearable and doesn't slip. They shrunk in the wash (I've attached a photo - the sock on the left is new, the sock on the right has been washed/dried once), although it still seems to fit well after several washes. I would give them 5 stars if they were more comfortable.
