Review on 🐠 AQQA Aquarium Electric Power Sponge Filter - 3W/5W Submersible Foam Filter for Saltwater and Freshwater Fish Tank by Matthew Loesch

I bought this filter as an experiment to see if it was better than some others on the market. I'm tired of removing the junk from the filter I'm using now and constantly buying filter cartridges and ammonia filter pads. I have found this product to be easy to assemble, has simple components that do not require changing often, runs quieter than previous filters I have purchased and works great in my starter tank. I bought a large (or medium I think) for my 40 gallon tank and a small for my 10 gallon tank. I was a little concerned that the power cord was submerged in water, but I hadn't been electrocuted yet! My 40 gallon tank is still running, but ever since I put the little one in my 10 gallon tank the water cleared up immediately (I did gravel trimming too). I have a problem with snails in my 10 gallon filter so this filter works for me because I found that the snails get sucked into the water chamber of my old filter and lay eggs. I think the fish are happier, but it's hard to tell from their blank faces.
