So far so good - lasted 10 washes
You've pleasantly surprised me. They're comfortable, like a bridge in a mask. I also have hand wash masks with the strip sewn in and have had no issues with rusting or loss of flexibility. I also like smooth and rounded edges. I didn't use glue or tape. I attached them by sewing.
