I bought 2 replacement remotes because the original remote failed after a few months. I bought 1 remote control and it worked for about 2 months, bought a 3rd (which I should have known better about), worked for about a month and then stopped. The whole system is garbage. You can turn it on and control the volume with the buttons on the speaker, but if you have a subwoofer and the remote doesn't work, you're out of luck. You can't control a subwoofer without a remote, and if the remote doesn't work (and they don't seem to last long), you're left with nothing but an external speaker that you have to control with the buttons on the speaker. myself.
