Finally! I can't even count how many car phone holders I've bought. Bottom line, the suction cups never worked for me. This one does the job and stays in place. I had no trouble installing the phone in the mount. (A simple button on the back/bottom automatically pops out of the side retainers) The fact that it easily attaches to my vent and actually stays where I put it made this a 5 star product. The price was great. Delivery was the next day (Prime). It consists of 2 parts. Do not worry. The mounting ball will not break the retaining tabs. (Wow!) Be careful. The phones love the air conditioning but I'll take them to another location when I use the heater this winter. (Food for thought). From time to time you will need to retighten the hinge set screw. (Take a moment) This will ensure your phone stays upright, but it works just as well as it does in a horizontal position. Once tightened and secured, it stays there. For $10. You can't beat this one. Ouch. And it worked with my phone case. Bravo!
