The first duvet cover I've ever bought. Not as soft as the one I grew up with and (to me) doesn't look as good as the picture but I'm serious. not negative in any way, it's just a personal opinion and probably the look of the rest of my room. It wasn't very soft at first, but they recommend washing it before use, which I didn't do as I wanted to test it first. But I didn't wash it for a week or two because it worked, but now I've washed it once and it's definitely softer. I hope it gets even softer with more washes, but it's definitely soft enough. The weight is good, it felt a little heavier than I was hoping for, but in combination with the blanket insert I honestly got the perfect warmth. However, it is winter here, so summer can be a bit too much. In general I am satisfied, only the pattern is not large and it could be a little softer. If I could, I would put 4.5!
