I gave the case 5 stars because it works as advertised. I've never had a case that used magnets to hold the device instead of a frame. But the case got good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. I've been using it for about two weeks so far. I have no idea how it will hold up over time but I can see it's well made. It was a little awkward to get used to the magnetic connection. When I tried to use it in landscape mode, it initially lost its magnetic connection. But it was more my ignorance of this type of reporting. Now, two weeks later, I know how to use the case in both portrait and landscape modes, and the device stays in place when I put it in either landscape mode.
