Flat cover with room for a pen in the center of the fold. Unfortunately the magnets don't hold the tablet in place enough to be strong enough when used as a stand, mine kept falling apart. This cover is even better than I thought. It's absolutely magnetic. There are no fasteners on the tablet, but that doesn't matter. I'm assuming he's using the magnetic dots on the tablet. I love that the back has a built in pen slot and the tablet turns on automatically when you open the case. It is durable, the material ensures a comfortable ride and does not leave fingerprints.
