Review on πŸ§” VIKINGS BLADE 'The Admiral' Safety Razor and Brush Stand - Heavy Duty Distressed Steel, Wide Openings by Becki Felix

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very nice high quality stand, the edges leave scratches on the plastic handle of the brush

The stand is well weighted. Very nice matt stealing. Razor hangers probably work better with safety razors than modern cartridge razors, but I use Harry's razors and they hold them up well. The brackets for hanging the brush have sharp-cut edges. I suspect Viking brand brushes will probably work better with this stand. My brush is made of plastic. When I hang it by the top of the handle, there are significant scratches on the handle. They can be erased, but I expect the pen to wear out over time, so instead I hang it where the pen and brush meet. He can still scratch the plastic there, but hanging like that is more like leaning on his hands. I wish these hands were smoother.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Basically ok, but...
