That's incredibly cute! It's just ridiculously cute. Not sure what you can tell from the pictures, but it's a small, shallow bowl (like a cat's bowl) that's fairly rigid, and a slightly wider lid that doubles as a low-lip plate. The bowl works like any shallow bowl with a lid, but the lid/plate is slightly curved and much smaller than any plate you would normally see. So if you hit the food with the utensil, it's likely to fall. Other side. It is of limited use in most situations. However, this is a good lid to cover a bowl in the fridge or on the countertop. I took it to carry around in my doggie bag. Large drinking bowl for dogs. The lid keeps dirt out and prevents spills (not like my dog kicks the bowl). It keeps the inside of the bowl in my bag clean and prevents water droplets from entering my bag. Whether you want it for your child or your dog, it's a bit heavy so not ideal for carrying in a backpack for long distances. But for a trip to the park or a short hike, it's great. The only thing is that the valuable pictures are printed on the cover (the bottom is smooth) and I suspect that sooner or later they will peel off, especially if you travel with it. I can't say for sure yet, but when I do, I'll share. In my opinion this is the main reason you pay more for a set like this, so I hope they stay! I love her! I've had them for a few weeks now and none of the pictures have rubbed or peeled off yet. I've washed them all once in the dishwasher, but mostly by hand after that. I still like her very much.
