I've always heard about this famous Spaldin ball and couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Like others, I grew up playing all kinds of games with the perfect beach ball, but I had one of them. Decades later I still think a high bounce ball is cool to "play" with. I have previously ordered a set of three multi colored rubber balls which look very much like a racquet ball and are great. When this ball came out, which cost more, I was expecting a cool ball with lots of rebounds. nope! This ball doesn't bounce well at all. The blue ball from the racket also bounces higher, especially the red one. I am very disappointed and wanted to return it but didn't. I guess the old originals were way better than these newer ones as were the crappy new Superballs. But I've never had the original so can't make a comparison but they don't jump high at all compared to the other guys I have.
