I bought the XL and they seem huge but I have an e-bike and all the controls have to fit inside. I've been cycling for almost a year so I'm familiar with the (now invisible) controls - I was concerned about space and can move my left hand to the center and operate the controls. A little tighter than I would like, but it works. When I ride them (and because they're so big (I'm only 5ft 2") they cover half my forearms. I'm so glad I don't have cold hands! But I have to say I can't find them WARM.. Just not cold.So I was considering spending almost double the price to get the EXTREME version and I think I made the right choice because I need space inside to work with the controls .I gave them 5 stars because the mittens seem to be very well made and thicker than I expected.
