Bad design: accessories

Cool idea, poorly executed. Build quality looks good, but the way they isolate and hold air to the handlebars is terrible. The inner velcro loop is in the wrong place, it pulls the mittens on the arm because they sewed them on the 'middle', so there's plenty of room under the handlebars, but a bit above. And the Velcro they use to seal wires and other stuff is ineffective. However, it's a good thing for a mod to make it look good, but I'm not impressed. They didn't seem to think much about it…

THEY WORK! - Men's

I bought the XL and they seem huge but I have an e-bike and all the controls have to fit inside. I've been cycling for almost a year so I'm familiar with the (now invisible) controls - I was concerned about space and can move my left hand to the center and operate the controls. A little tighter than I would like, but it works. When I ride them (and because they're so big (I'm only 5ft 2") they cover half my forearms. I'm so glad I don't have cold hands! But I have to say I can't find them WARM…

The hands stay comfortable. Ride bare hands at 15 degrees with no discomfort

I drive around the Northeast all year round and at 5 degrees I haven't found a single glove that can prevent my fingers from going numb when I arrive at the destination. These are not comparable. The hands stay comfortable. Walked barehanded in 15 degrees with no discomfort. Wonderful! Some very minor downsides: they get in the way of my shifter a bit so shifting becomes a bit awkward. Too much hassle to toggle on and off for me to do this at work. I have to trust they won't be stolen. You need

Bring the cold! fits accessory

I've had them for a year now and I really like them. They stay on my fat bike all winter. I commute to work, ride the singletrack and just get lost on the bike and never worry about my hands getting cold. I wear a thinly lined glove or walk with my bare hands. I bought the XL to have more room to get in and out of, or to make room for a bulkier glove if needed. My coldest ride was in -15 and 15 mph winds. With lined gloves, I added a hand warmer to each bar glove. The hands got cool, but never…

Excellent product! Men's

Excellent cold weather gear. You won't find gloves that warm that aren't as bulky, making them unsuitable for cycling (e.g. lobster gloves). There is internal velcro to secure the glove to the handlebars in addition to zips/velcro straps securing it to the handlebars. The zip closes the front to keep cold drafts out (very important), but the glove is large enough to allow air to circulate inside. It's easy for me to pull my hands out of the glove - as if they weren't there. There are no…

Nice addition Fat Bike

Cold hands or cold feet ruin riding. And these things really help. They were easy to put on and at first it was a bit different getting your hand in and out (putting your hand back on the bars rather than taking them off). But eventually when the gloves break in they tend to stay more where they were as they had a great tendency to want to be more closed when I first got them and then it becomes second nature, as if they didn't even exist. . Don't be afraid to adjust them here and there to get…

  • Functionality

Great stuff. They really help reduce wind and trap heat. I chose the medium size as I wanted to wear winter cycling gloves and they worked great on my hybrid bike. The velcro system is a little flimsy, hence a star for that. But for the functionality and the price, these things were a worthwhile investment and, together with cheap ski goggles, made winter cycling quite easy. And as long as these things work, don't expect miracles. I've found my hands naturally warm up after about 30 minutes of…
