Review on Essential Teenitor Reducers Transfer Droppers by Michelle Collins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Small but high quality bottles. The hole reducers are ineffective but overall the bottles are great!

This review is for 36 high quality 2ml (5/8 AMD) Teenitor® amber glass bottles with adapters and black caps. I received a total of 36 amber bottles. Glass bottles, mouth reducers and black caps are packaged minimally but effectively. They also included two glass droppers which were very good. These bottles are real amber glass, not tinted. This means that the color will not fade or fade with daily use. I also like that the amber lens offers some protection for UV sensitive products. Since I end up using these bottles to work with essential oils, this is exactly what I was looking for. These bottles are very small. The overall height with screw cap was exactly 1 inch. I originally intended to purchase these to use with essential oil blends. I make and sell many essential oil products including personal inhalers. I thought it would be great if people bought blends so they could have a small amount of oils to refill and refresh their nasal inhalers. This size is perfect for this purpose and also a great option for mixing and experimenting with my own essential oil blends and fragrances. As you will see in one of the attached pictures filled with essential oils, these bottles don't hold much. I put 50 drops in the bottle in the picture and as you can see there is still some room left for more. The oils have been dispensed from 15ml bottles with euro droppers so there may be slight differences if you only use a reducer bottle and of course the consistency of different types of oil. Either way, they're just a great option for small parties. They're also perfect for making your own essential oil first aid kits, as these little bottles are the perfect size to carry enough of what you need without the added bulk of larger bottles. I could also see that these bottles are great for small medications or supplements that you may need to carry or keep in your purse or pocket. Although they are glass and glass is fragile, these bottles are beautiful, high quality bottles with high clarity. They appear to be made well enough to withstand normal wear and tear and transportation without having to worry about any issues. All adapters are easily and securely inserted into the bottles. The black screw on the lid can also be tightened easily, evenly and securely. I haven't experienced any leakage problems. The only issue I've had with these bottles is the opening reducer...it's completely inefficient and doesn't work. I've tried many oils and couldn't get any of them to drip easily without shaking the bottles thoroughly. Of course, shaking the bottle isn't the best option as the oils really make a mess and tend to fly all over the place. I was very disappointed that they didn't work. Because of this I had to buy a couple of extra small pipettes as it is the only simple and effective way my customers can get bottled oils in a controlled amount. When refilling inhalers, it has to be precise and without additional pipettes, which is not possible with these bottles. Also, the eyedropper tips I had on hand didn't fit the hole on the aperture reducer. Therefore, to use these bottles, I have to remove the adapter every time I need to access the oil. I give these bottles 4 stars because of the ineffective adapters. I also think that these bottles are a bit overpriced for that reason. I compared before buying and there were many other options that were cheaper. However, based on the reviews, I decided to pay a little more and buy this brand. However, the whole reason I paid more was also the only thing I don't like about these bottles. If you don't need a controlled release mechanism straight from the bottle then this is great. Otherwise, prepare to use pipettes. If for any reason after using this product for a long time my opinion or rating changes, I will post updates.
