Great when it snows
I have a pair of boots and a pair of tennis shoes that I leave on yaktraxx all winter, it makes life easier instead of putting them on and off. I can easily walk on them and polish them, but because they're metal and can scratch wood and linoleum, I take them off when I'm visiting friends.
