LED light makes my face look awful

I sent back this backlit makeup mirror because it made my complexion look very gray and old. I was surprised at how terrible the quality of the light was. I had a similar Jerdon mirror for a few years and liked it, but left it when I sold my house. All other lights in my new house are LEDs and they look great. I wonder if the manufacturer needs to adjust the Kelvin color of the LED bulb? The mirror was well made so I ordered a replacement of the same brand with a regular bulb.
