Review on Versatile Leathercraft Skiving Tool: Wooden Handle 🔪 Stainless Steel Cutting Knife with Home Craft Tool Accessories by Andrea Sonnier

I have been working as a tanner for a few years now and have always found sanding a chore. I have both a safe skiver and a super skiver from Tandy Leather, but getting a straight skiver with these tools is almost impossible. I've practiced and practiced and it's extremely difficult for me to get a consistent advantage. I bought this tool and I have to say I'm incredibly impressed. It's very sharp right out of the box and I was able to cut both 12oz and 4oz leather to a sharp edge. This tool may only cost $10, but it's definitely going to be one of my favorite tools.
