I volunteer for a local group that provides warm food to the homeless or people who don't have enough money to buy all the groceries they need meals provided. For side dishes (pasta salad, etc.), these containers are the right size, but for real food, you'll need to buy something twice the size. Other than that, however, the containers worked well for what I needed. Beautiful and durable, which is important as some people travel long distances to reach us and have many different things they stuff in their pockets.
