I'm very happy with this dress over all. I knew before buying it that I'd have to get the photographer to retouch the seam down the side, because of looking at other reviews, but other than that the dress was perfect. I'm 5'9" and it was long enough that I could wear heels, although in this pic I'd taken them off to get extra use of the train. I would NOT recommend using this as a dress for an event, as the fabric is too clingy/see through, and the side seams are unflattering in my opinion. The thin fabric also makes it a trick to get the train to behave if there's any breeze, but it's totally doable. The arms were totally comfortable as far as I'm concerned. I bought a medium, and I was size 0/2/XS before I got pregnant, although I've gained 40 lbs at 35 weeks when we did the shoot. I would say, if you know what your purpose is and you're willing to play with it, it is the ideal maternity photography dress.
