They do the job better than the knives I threw away when I got them.
You can tell they're not forged and feel different in hand than the Ikon or Classic, but they're lighter and when you're working with long parts it makes a difference. I'm just a home cook and I cook a lot and that does the job. I really like their weight but they look and feel cheaper than other sets. If buying as a gift I would choose forged sets.
