I bought 3 pieces of this set, 6 towels in total, etc. The first two large fluffs on the front and back after about 30 minutes of drying. The smaller batch was set to dry more and ran for about 10 minutes! Another jet of air for 10 minutes produced about 25% more. 2nd and 3rd washes were basically the same. I notice quick drying times. These are good size towels for people 6ft tall and taller. Very little lint on the fifth wash of 6 large towels. They are replacing some of the old Sears Pima cotton towels. These new ones would probably feel the same as these, with the same softness. I'm sure Pima cotton with fabric softener feels just as good. I like technology and can appreciate statistical opinion, but after all the data I can give it an A. I have not used fabric softeners before and they are good and dry my skin and hair very quickly. Hair dryer fires occur when a machine that is not kept clean becomes cluttered with lint.
