Review on 🍾 Pink Champagne Elegance: Casio Women's BG169G-4 Baby G Watch by Jessica Edwards

It's hard to see the time from a certain angle

Undoubtedly it's a good watch and I was pleasantly surprised by its colour. Most women's sports watches are either garish pink or purple or some other hideous color (the clichés have gone bad), but this champagne color is very subtle and looks almost "elegant". However, I have a few problems with it in general: 1. In certain lighting conditions, I can't see the numbers on the dial at all to know what time it is. I literally have to move them in all directions hoping to find the angle at which the numbers are visible and sometimes I just have to press the light button and cover the watch with my hand to make it dark so I can see it can use light to see the numbers. This is a BIG disadvantage for me as I work in the ER and don't always have both hands to tell the time and also when I drive or hike and don't have access to both hands this can be a huge disadvantage. It's also a bit difficult to figure out the features. I have an old cheap Ironman ladies watch that I used because it has a good dial reading in all conditions and is very easy to set up and use. It's not as "beautiful" as the Baby-G, but for what I'm after, functionality and affordability are more important than aesthetics. I just wish someone would invent an outdoor women's watch that is more feminine in appearance and size and has realistic functions.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • It's ok
