I bought it as a second monitor so it's not used for basic functions but more for text/background as a place to put anything I might need when using the main monitor for big things. used for something intense and I can't comment on how good or bad it is for those purposes. My main monitor is 2K with a refresh rate of 75Hx so I tried to find something freer. For the most part it works fine. I did notice quite a bit of glare on the screen, but this isn't generally a big issue since most of the elements on it are text and other functional elements. There's an odd amount of "droplets" going horizontally down the middle of the screen when it's not active, but when it's active the screen shows no dropouts. Will I be using it as my main monitor. Well, I'm spoiled in how I want things, so no, I wouldn't. Can it work? Quite possibly yes. For my purposes, having an additional smaller monitor works really well to handle all those pesky little things. That and the price was spot on for getting the 75 Hx refresh rate in the package. So guess it depends on your needs.
