MAC OWNERS: Please read this before attempting to initialize your ioSafe! Apple got it wrong!
I was wrong! At first I thought ioSafe cheated me! After their quick response, they showed me that it was Apple's fault! Attention buyers! If you are a Mac owner and decide to buy this device, the latest version of Apple OS 10.13.3 Mac OS High Sierra does not show proper device listings in their DISK UTILITY app. Namely, when you go to DISK UTILITY, there is an icon in the upper left corner that says "View". When you open this menu, "Show volumes only" is selected. (Photo #1) THIS IS WRONG! Select "SHOW ALL DEVICESβ (photo #2). Select the top level icon of your device and the DISK UTILITY will work properly.
